Spring Break Part 1: Monday

Monday was an interesting day... I went for a run in the morning (it was so nice to run there--so many fun things to look at) and scoped out Harbour Town. I found a cute little cafe that overlooked the harbor, and I thought it would be a great place for lunch and the kiddos could check out the boats. By the time we got to lunch, the weather had gotten chillier. Unfortunately, the cafe was only outdoors :( I think despite the wind and chill we had a good time--the food was actually really good! We did postpone our planned trip to the playground until later! Jackson and Rachel napped while Josh and Joe discovered their newfound love of Shuffleboard... By the time the little guys woke up, the sun was peeking out periodically. Josh and Joe said they would be more than happy to take Jackson and Rachel swimming. Susie and I decided we would stay on the outside and photograph the event :) The pool was nice and warm and they all had so much fun!

I think we would all agree that this night's dinner was the best one we had! We went to The Sea Shack. It is a little hole-in-the-wall place that the locals frequent and love! We got to sit outside at a picnic table (I'm a sucker for outdoor dining). The food was delicious, as was the key lime pie we took home! The whole atmosphere was great!
