Grandpa Ronnie's Fudge

Josh's dad had a wonderful fudge recipe--a fabulous legacy that we recreate each Christmas :)  We decided to jump right in and made fudge as soon as we got here on Saturday!  Jackson LOVES helping with baking/cooking projects, so Josh asked him if he wanted to help.  I must say, Jackson and Josh made some of the tastiest fudge we have had yet :)

Step 1: Combine 5 cups of white sugar, 2 sticks of margarine, and 1 can of evaporated milk in a heavy pan.

Step 2: Bring to a full boil.  Continue to stir and boil for exactly 5 minutes!

Step 3: Remove from heat.  Add 1 tsp of vanilla, 12 oz of chocolate chips, and 2/3 of a 10 oz package of mini marshmallows.

Step 4: Beat until almost cool and flossy.

Step 5: Pour onto buttered cookie sheet.  Refrigerate and cut once cooled.

Hmm... fudge. I LOVE Christmas fudge. I'm gathering recipes for Christmas day and I'll be sure to add this one to the list!
